Jeremy grew up in East London and East Anglia.

After presenting shows on university radio he decided against a career in his chosen field, mechanical engineering, because he didn't like having dirty hands and moved into broadcasting. He's never looked back. Well perhaps just the odd glance.

He's moved between news, sport and light entertainment with the effortless grace of Nijinsky. That's the ballet dancer, not the horse. A product of the legendary GLR radio station, that produced Chris Morris, Chris Evans and Danny Baker, he's acquired a reputation as someone who can present information in an entertaining manner.

Despite winning awards as a presenter in TV and radio for over twenty years his proudest moment is always hearing his voice in the background on football show Match of the Day, especially if it's to announce a West Ham goal. He's the stadium announcer at Upton Park. He even married his wife Jeanette at the football stadium in November 2006.
